A co-founder of ASSEMBLE, Dr. Kaitlyn Brennan is a passionate advocate and experienced expert in the field of advocacy, government affairs, education and development. Dr. Brennan earned her PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 after beginning her career as a special education teacher in urban communities. As the driving force behind KB Strategies LLC, she brings a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to empowering individuals and communities.

With deep roots in the community and a proven track record of success, Dr. Brennan has spearheaded advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local levels, securing funding for transformative programs totaling over $100 million annually across government and foundation sectors. Her expertise spans various facets of advocacy, including development, workforce initiatives, and policy implementation, all meticulously tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Dr. Brennan's impact extends far beyond traditional advocacy. Through her strategic vision and tireless efforts, she has mobilized movements aimed at eliminating policy barriers and driving systemic change, reshaping entire communities.Dr. Brennan is known for her ability to navigate complex funding and political landscapes while mobilizing resources that improve outcomes.

 Dr. Brennan remains grounded in the heart of her work, devoting time each week to mentor at-risk youth. A Pittsburgh sports fan, devoted aunt, and resident of Oakmont, she lives with her two beloved dogs, Kenny and Ruth.
