Tommy Johnson

Before launching Allegheny Strategy Partners in 2021, Tommy spent over 15 years with Pittsburgh-based, CONSOL Energy & CNX Resources, serving in a number of professional capacities. Prior to entering the private sector, he served as a legislative aide to United States Senator Rick Santorum. Tommy has also served on numerous finance committees for congressional and statewide candidates, and as an energy advisor to Donald J. Trump’s presidential campaign.
Over the years, Tommy has been very active in business and civic engagement. Having served on the boards of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry has provided unique insight into a variety of issues facing the business community. He has actively served in a leadership capacity in a number of state and federal trade associations dealing with energy with organizations such as Independent Petroleum Association of America, National Mining Association, PA Coal Alliance, and Marcellus Shale Coalition.
He has recently served on the Executive Committee of Visit Pittsburgh and was a past chairman of the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board in western Pennsylvania. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he has proudly served at the pleasure of the Commonwealth as an appointee to the University of Pittsburgh Board of Trustees. Rooted in western Pennsylvania, community engagement has been a prominent part of Tommy's experience. He has served on a number of boards in the non-profit space, notably the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
Tommy resides in the North Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Stacie and 3 children Rylee, Jackson and Reagan.
